Complex Healthcare Assistant

First Option Healthcare are a Complex Care provider who specialise in providing care to Children & Adults with Complex needs in their own home. You’ll deliver personalised care and support to our clients in their own homes to help maintain dignity & self-worth and promote independence. We are looking for a bubbly, compassionate & energetic HCA with previous experience of providing person centred care and quality care for children with complex needs in the community. Our client is a 9-year-Old Female who lives at home with family based in Colchester CO2. Shift Details: Monday - Friday - 07:00 - 16:00 Saturday - Sun 07:00 - 15:00 You will need to have a minimum of 1 years’ experience working with children with complex needs in a hospital or community setting Experience Required * Tracheostomy * Ventilation * Suctioning * Hoisting * PEG Feeding * Cough Assist * Oxygen Therapy Main Responsibilities: * Provide 1:1 care to patients in their own home * Build rapport with family members and other staff members * Making sure care plans are followed and client dignity & respect is practiced
