Are you an experienced Service Technician looking for a varied field-based role with a long-established, respected agricultural machinery business?
\nWe are looking for two skilled and motivated Service Technicians to join our friendly and experienced team at our Marlesford branch in Suffolk.

Role Purpose:
\nWorking directly with the Service Manager, you will play a key role in keeping our customers’ machinery operating at its best. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position where no two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to work on a wide range of agricultural and industrial equipment, diagnose faults, complete repairs and servicing at customer sites, and take pride in delivering a high-quality service that our customers can rely on.

- Experienced, Mobile Field Service Engineer with a proven track record working on modern agricultural machinery. \n
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to accurately identify faults and complete repairs first time. \n
- Experience repairing, servicing and maintaining agricultural or industrial machinery, including work on customer sites. \n
- Confident troubleshooting modern electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel engines and fault code data. \n
- Able to identify and replace faulty parts and components in line with manufacturer specifications. \n
- Excellent reporting and IT skills, with the ability to complete and submit accurate digital documentation on time. \n
- Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise with the Service Manager, Service Advisors, customers and suppliers regarding repair progress, maintenance requirements and any delays or issues. \n
- Ability to work under pressure, think on your feet and resolve issues using sound judgement and initiative. \n
- Committed to maintaining high standards of workmanship, housekeeping and company vehicle care. \n
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures, use appropriate PPE and promote safe working practices at all times. \n
- Previous experience working within an OEM dealership would be advantageous. \n
- Full UK driving licence. \n
Additional Information
\nStart Date: Immediate, but subject to candidate notice period.
\nLocation: Marlesford, Suffolk, IP13 0AG
\nHours: 39hrs per week - 8am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm Friday (1-hr unpaid lunch) Overtime paid at time and a half on completion of 39 hours.
\nContract: Permanent, full-time, hourly paid
\nSalary: £Competitive, depending on experience plus company van and company mobile phone
