Capability Management Planning Specialist

- 12-months contract \n
- Inside IR35 Umbrella daily rate - £623 per day \n
We are seeking a Capability Management Planning Specialist to support the development, deployment, and ongoing management of engineering processes and toolsets within a complex engineering environment.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Administer and maintain the engineering tools and process capability management system. \n
- Support the deployment of new engineering capabilities while ensuring existing capabilities are effectively sustained. \n
- Identify capability gaps, opportunities for standardisation, and areas for collaboration across engineering teams. \n
- Work closely with engineering and digital teams to deliver process and toolset improvements. \n
- Support the development of business cases for engineering tool and process capability initiatives. \n
- Develop and maintain plans to deliver engineering capability improvements within agreed budgets. \n
- Monitor and report on capability development activities and progress. \n
Essential Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Active SC Clearance (mandatory). \n
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. \n
- Experience supporting engineering capability management, engineering processes, or engineering IT tools. \n
- Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams and engage with a range of technical stakeholders. \n
- Experience working within an engineering or aerospace environment. \n
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. \n
Desirable Skills
\n- \n
- Experience with Model-Based Engineering (MBE) approaches and associated toolsets. \n
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau. \n
- Experience developing or supporting engineering process improvement initiatives. \n
- Previous experience in capability management. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent industry experience is desirable. \n
