Crew Coordinator

The Crew Coordinator ensures an effective and efficient crew planning in compliance with applicable law and regulations.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities

To include but not limited to:

\n
• Set up, monitor and maintain a short and long term crew planning, to ensure effective and efficient operations and optimal use of available crew
\n
• Ensure planning and changes are clearly communicated to the fleet and involved personnel • Coordinate transport and accommodation if and when required
\n
• Coordinate recruitment of vessel personnel
\n
• Ensure new personnel receives the required safety induction when embarking for the first time
\n
• Ensure required documents (seaman’s book, medical, training) are up to date and arrange renewal if and when required
\n
• Ensure that personnel data like mutations, illness, timesheets etc., are processed correctly and in time
\n

Required knowledge/experience

Education/certificates

\n
• Secondary vocational education Experience
\n
• A minimum of 2 years as personnel planner, preferably in a maritime organization Other requirements:
\n
• Fluently in the language of the designated area, both oral and written
\n
• Good command of the English language, both oral and written
