Fork Lift Driver

GEM are working with a global automotive organisation to recruit a number of Fork Lift Truck drivers for their highprofile facility in Newton Aycliffe. We are keen to hear from candidates with and without experience within this sector, and hold a counterbalance license.

Duties

\n
• Perform a wide range of logistics and inspection tasks, whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
\n
• Follow standard operation guides to assist you in your role
\n
• Work in a warehouse environment, with elements of manual handling.
\n
• Work within a fast paced, demanding, team orientated environment, aiming to achieve and exceed targets.
\n
• Basic warehouse duties & housekeeping
\n
• Packing / un-boxing products
\n
• Loading / unloading wagons
\n
• FLT duties (Counterbalance)
\n

Required knowledge, skills or experience

\n
• Have a can-do attitude
\n
• Good communication skills
\n
• Attention to detail
\n
• Flexible
\n
• Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
\n
• FLT license.
\n

Hours of work:

\n
• Monday to Friday 3 shift rotation
\n
• Days – 07:00am-15:00pm £15.63
\n
• Lates – 15:00pm-23:00pm £18.76
\n
• Nights – 23:00pm-7:00am £20.84
\n
