Class 1 Night Driver

Hexagon Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support a busy airfreight operation based in Hounslow. This role is ideal for drivers seeking flexible work, with shifts available throughout the week, Monday to Sunday. If you enjoy long-distance trunking, nights away from home, and working within the fast-paced airfreight industry, we'd love to hear from you. The Role You'll be transporting secure air cargo between major UK airports and distribution hubs, ensuring freight is delivered safely, professionally and on time. This is clean trunking work with no multidrop or manual handling, operating modern, well-maintained vehicles. A minimum of 12 hours is paid for every shift worked. What You'll Be Doing * Transporting air cargo between major UK airports, including Heathrow, Gatwick, East Midlands and Manchester * Completing long-distance trunking work with regular nights out * Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting * Completing transport paperwork accurately * Following all airfreight security procedures and transport legislation * Providing a professional service at customer sites What We're Looking For * Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) licence * Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card * Minimum 2 years' UK Class 1 driving experience * Comfortable with long-distance driving and overnight stays * Maximum 6 penalty points (No DD, DR or IN convictions) * Previous airfreight experience is advantageous * Cargo Operative Driver (COD/Level D) certificate preferred, or willingness to obtain * Able to provide a clean DBS and 5-year checkable employment history for airport security clearance Additional Training The following qualifications are required for the role.
