Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical Bias)\n
\nCambirdgeshire: Commutable from March, Wisbech, Chatteris, Ely, Peterborough and Huntingdon\n
\nSalary: £50,000 + Optional Overtime\n
\nMonday - Friday, 6-2 / 2-10\n
\nWe're recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a growing manufacturing business in Cambridgeshire. It's an exciting time to join them, with plans for continued growth and investment on site. This role suits either an electrically biased engineer with mechanical skills, or a mechanically biased engineer with strong electrical competence (60/40 or 50/50 split either way). Food manufacturing experience would be a strong advantage.\n
\nThe Role\n
\nCarry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across mechanical and electrical equipment\n
\nFault find and repair electrical and mechanical breakdowns to minimise downtime\n
\nWork a Monday - Friday pattern across 6-2 and 2-10 shifts\n
\nSupport continuous improvement activity on site\n
\nEnsure work is completed in line with health & safety and food safety standards\n
\nWhat We're Looking For\n
\nRecognised engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, apprenticeship, or equivalent)\n
\nMulti-skilled with a 60/40 or 50/50 split, electrical or mechanical bias considered, but must be electrically competent\n
\nFood manufacturing or FMCG experience desirable\n
\nStrong fault-finding skills across both disciplines\n
\nWhat's On Offer\n
\n£50,000 basic salary\n
\nOptional overtime available\n
\nMonday - Friday working, no weekends\n
\nA growing business with genuine long-term prospects\n
