Interim Legal Counsel – Commercial Contracts - Global Engineering and Tech Powerhouse

Are you a commercial lawyer looking for an interim opportunity where you can make an immediate impact?

A leading global engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an Interim Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team on an initial 3-6-month contract.

Supporting a busy and growing legal function, you'll work closely with commercial stakeholders across the business, providing pragmatic legal advice and taking ownership of a broad range of commercial matters. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys partnering with the business, rolling up their sleeves and delivering practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

You'll advise on a broad range of commercial matters, including:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
\n
• Sales agreements relating to products, components and equipment.
\n
• Supply, maintenance and services agreements.
\n
• Supporting projects across sectors including infrastructure, energy, data centres, rail, marine and industrial manufacturing.
\n
• Managing low-value pre-litigation disputes.
\n
• Providing day-to-day commercial legal advice to business stakeholders.
\n

Who We're Looking For

This opportunity would suit a commercially minded lawyer with approximately 3–6 years' PQE (although there is flexibility for the right individual) who can quickly integrate into the business and hit the ground running.

• A willingness to get involved, take ownership and support the wider legal team wherever needed.
