\nSalary: Up to £50,000
\nLocation: Manchester
\nRole: Permanent, Hybrid
\nA global organisation who operates a major network of tank container and logistics service facilities across the UK is looking for a Payroll specialist to join their team and support end-to-end payroll processing, activities and reporting, as well as providing a leading hand in day-to-day administration topics.
\nThis is a really good opportunity to join a very close knit, supportive team with lots of room for development and growth. It is a permanent, hybrid role, and you will be required to work from their Manchester office 2-3 days a week, depending on their requirements.
\nThe successful applicant will:
\n- \n
- Process end-to-end payroll \n
- Carry out manual payroll calculations, including statutory payments and deductions \n
- Manage starters, leavers and payroll amendments \n
- Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements \n
- Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies \n
- Work closely with HR and Finance to maintain accurate employee records \n
- Respond to payroll queries from employees \n
- Support year-end payroll activities and reporting \n
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems \n
Minimum Requirements:
\n- \n
- Proven experience in end-to-end payroll \n
- Dayforce or Ceridian experience \n
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC regulations \n
- Confidence completing manual payroll calculations \n
- Excellent attention to detail and Excel skills \n
- Experience using payroll systems \n
- Must have the right to work in the UK. \n
Highly Desirable

- CIPP qualification (or studying towards it) is a bonus \n
