Senior Project Officer

Are you an experienced project professional passionate about delivering positive social and economic outcomes? The Greater London Authority (GLA) is seeking several Senior Project Officers to support a range of high-profile programmes aimed at improving opportunities and outcomes for Londoners.

These exciting contract opportunities sit within the GLA's Social and Economic Inclusion portfolio and will support key priorities including Cost of Living initiatives, Good Work and Fair Pay programmes, Labour Market Inclusion, employer engagement and partnership development.

Working closely with local authorities, employers, community organisations, policymakers and other stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering projects that make a genuine difference across the capital.

• 3-month initial contract with the possibility of further extension

• Full-time opportunity
\n
• Hybrid working model with 2-3 days per week in the office
\n
• Based in Southwark, London
\n
• £210.23 per day via PAYE or £273.72 per day via Umbrella
\n

About the Roles

We are recruiting across four distinct programme areas:

• Cost of Living & Benefits Uptake - Supporting programmes that help Londoners access financial support and improve awareness of available benefits and services.
\n
• Employer Engagement & Good Work - Working with businesses to promote fair employment practices and encourage participation in Mayoral accreditation schemes.
\n
• Partnerships & Policy Delivery - Supporting research, partnership development and policy-led initiatives across local authorities and community organisations.
\n
• Labour Market Inclusion - Delivering projects that help employers create more inclusive workplaces and improve opportunities for underrepresented groups.

• Experience managing multiple workstreams simultaneously

• Strong communication and influencing abilities

• Experience working with data, reporting and performance monitoring

• A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving
