Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to join their team in North Hertfordshire.This is a compliance-focused role rather than a traditional site-based health and safety position. You will work closely with the contracts management team, managing HSEQ systems, ensuring compliance with legislation, maintaining accreditations, implementing ISO standards and coordinating health and safety documentation across the business.Key responsibilities will include managing risk assessments and method statements, maintaining insurance and certification records, supporting audits, monitoring supply chain compliance, and ensuring CSCS, CDM and health & safety requirements remain up to date.Requirements:NEBOSH Diploma (preferably construction focused)Proven experience leading ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 certificationMinimum 5 years experience across health & safety and quality within construction, retail fit-out, building or electrical contractingStrong knowledge of UK H&S, environmental and quality legislationExperience with UKAS certification audits and integrated management systemsPrevious experience working within an SME environmentStrong communication, leadership and supplier engagement skillsDesirable:Internal auditor qualification (ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001)IIRSM membershipExperience with supply chain auditing and risk assessmentsUnderstanding of Building Safety Act 2022 requirementsCandidates are likely to come from a construction background with experience in H&S coordination, compliance or quality management.
