The Role

Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll lead a team within a busy manufacturing environment, ensuring production targets, quality standards and customer requirements are consistently achieved.

You'll be responsible for supporting your team, maintaining efficient production flow and driving continuous improvement across the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a manufacturing team.
\n
• Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
\n
• Monitor workflow and product movement throughout the manufacturing process.
\n
• Maintain high standards of quality, health & safety and housekeeping.
\n
• Use ERP systems to monitor and manage production activities.
\n
• Analyse production data and identify opportunities for improvement.
\n
• Work closely with planning, production and other internal departments.
\n
• Resolve day-to-day production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
\n
• Ensure customer requirements are met through effective planning and communication.
\n

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience leading a team within a manufacturing, engineering or machining environment.
\n
• A good understanding of manufacturing processes and production flow.
\n
• Experience using ERP systems.
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
• The ability to analyse production data and solve operational problems.
\n
• A proactive, hands-on leadership style.
\n
• A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
\n
