You'll support major commercial projects, government contracts and strategic business initiatives while working alongside highly experienced legal and commercial professionals.The role offers a broad remit, combining high-value commercial contracting with regulatory, procurement and governance work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where legal is viewed as a genuine strategic partner to the business.About the RoleAs Legal Counsel, you will:\n

• Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements, software licensing arrangements and technology contracts.
\n
• Advise the business on commercial, regulatory and strategic legal matters across UK and European operations.
\n
• Support public sector and government contracting activities, helping the business navigate procurement requirements.
\n
• Provide commercially focused legal advice on areas including intellectual property, data protection, export controls and regulatory compliance.
\n
• Partner closely with senior stakeholders across legal, commercial, engineering and product teams to support business growth.
\n
• Assist with corporate governance, compliance and legal risk management across multiple jurisdictions.
\n
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Europe on cross-border legal matters and best practice initiatives.
\n

About YouThe ideal candidate will:\n

• Be a qualified solicitor in England & Wales with approximately 4–10 years PQE (guideline).
\n
• Have strong experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts, ideally involving technology, software or intellectual property.
\n
• Have experience advising on public procurement, regulated industries or government contracting, although candidates from broader commercial backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
\n
• Be comfortable providing practical, commercially focused legal advice to senior stakeholders.
\n
• Possess excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
\n
• Enjoy working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment where legal plays a key role in commercial decision-making.
\n
