Maintenance Operative

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our well established client based in Norwich, for a temporary Maintenance Operative the shift pattern is 4 on 4 off 10am - 3pm, paying £13.50ph The role will include * Keeping the site clean and tify * Empty all bins and ensure they are clean, hygienic, and properly * Carry out weed control across paved and landscaped areas * Cut grass in designated green spaces * Strim lawns, trim shrubs and maintain plant areas. * Clear fallen leaves * Basic Repairs: Carrying out minor DIY repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, repairing broken fences, or painting over damage * Monitor site perimeter and identfiying hazards The ideal candidate will need, * Willingness to learn * Previous experience as a ground maintenance/ Handyman role * Basic Health & Safety Knowledge * an eye for details * the ability to heavy lift Desirable Qualifications * IOSH Managing Safely * Lantra PA1- Safe Use of Pesticides * Lantra PA6 – Handheld Knapsack Sprayer * Lantra Ride on and Push Mowers * Lantra Brushcutter/Strimmer & Handheld Hedge Timmer The company can offer you * Over time, extra hours * Great experience and training in the industry * Progression within the business for the right person, Sound like the perfect role for you?
