TIG Welder - Leicester

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join our well-established client based in Leicester.

This position would suit applicants who have worked in roles such as a MIG Welder, Fabricator Welder or Sheet Metal Welder.

Rates of Pay:

• £14.50 per hour

Shift Pattern:

As a TIG Welder, you will work:

\n
• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
\n
• Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
\n

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a TIG Welder are:

\n
• Carrying out high-quality TIG welding to engineering drawings and specifications
\n
• Welding stainless steel and other metals to a high standard
\n
• Inspecting finished welds to ensure quality and accuracy
\n
• Preparing materials ready for welding
\n
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
\n
• Operating welding equipment safely and efficiently
\n
• Working as part of the production team to meet deadlines
\n
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times
\n

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a TIG Welder, you will need:

\n
• Previous TIG welding experience
\n
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
\n
• Good communication skills
\n
• A reliable and positive approach to work
\n
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n

Desirable Experience:

To be successful as a TIG Welder, it would be beneficial if you have:

\n
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
\n
• Experience welding stainless steel and thin gauge materials
\n

Training:

As a TIG Welder, you will receive:

\n
• Training provided where required
\n
• Successful candidates will be invited to attend a weld test and informal interview with the client before starting
\n
