- Assessing knowledge and competence-based qualifications through workplace observations, professional discussions and portfolio evidence. \n

- Maintaining accurate assessment records and awarding body compliance. \n
- Supporting quality assurance activities. \n

- Recognised Assessor qualification (A1, CAVA or equivalent) \n
- Experience assessing vocational qualifications within Health & Social Care, Residential Childcare or Education \n
- Excellent communication and coaching skills \n
- Ability to confidently assess workplace competence \n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively manage your own caseload \n
- Passion for developing others \n

- Internal Quality Assurance qualification (or willingness to work towards with employer support) \n
- Experience within residential childcare, specialist education or learning disability services \n
- Experience delivering training or facilitating learning \n
- \n
