Our client is a very successful, unique, international engineering company who manufacture bespoke machinery for a large portfolio of customers throughout the UK.The operation in Thetford employs 80 dedicated and loyal staff and the company is riding high at the moment with an annual turnover of over 20 million pounds per year.A Purchasing Assistant is required to join the supply chain team ensuring materials, goods, and services are procured efficiently and cost-effectively to meet business requirementsKey Responsibilities:Processing purchase ordersSupplier liaisonAccurate record keepingStock & inventory managementWork closely with production, stores, engineering and accountsSoure alternative suppliersWe are looking for someone in a purchasing role from a manufacturing and or engineering environment with knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.Monday to Friday - 0830 to 1700, 37.5 hours per weekSalary to suit experiencePensionFree parkingTPBN1_UKTJ
