Job description • Highways Schemes around Oxfordshire We're Hiring: Freelance Site Engineer Location: Oxfordshire Sectors: Highways schemes Day rate: £320 to £400 per day Duration: Ongoing We are hiring for Freelance Site Engineer's for an upcoming Highways schemes in Oxfordshire. The engineer would need to be comfortable with Highways, Resurfacing, Levels, volumes, calculations, 3D models. Key Responsibilities of a Freelance Site Engineer: • Set out and monitor cut/fill levels, formation levels, platform levels, drainage etc • Review drawings, spec, and 3D models • Work closely with the CM, PM, and SM, alongside subcontractors • Maintain accurate site records Experience Required for the Freelance Site Engineer: • Proven experience as a site engineer (Highways) • Strong setting out experience using modern surveying equipment • Ability to read and interpret drawings • Experience working with subcontractors • CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid (desriable not essential), engineering qualification
