Design Studio & Customer Service Administrator
Job Description
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join a busy and creative business who supply their products to some huge retailers. This varied role combines customer liaison, stock control, administration, reception duties, and support for a fast-paced design studio.
\nWorking closely with internal teams and key customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring information is accurately managed, orders are processed efficiently, stock levels are maintained, and customer communication remains professional and effective.
\nThis role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy office environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining high levels of accuracy and organisation.
\nThis role is fully office based Mon to Thurs 8.30-5 and 8.30-4 on Fri.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nReception & Administration
\n- \n
- Meet and greet visitors professionally. \n
- Manage incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries appropriately. \n
- Book meetings and coordinate appointments. \n
- Arrange courier collections and deliveries. \n
Customer Liaison
\n- \n
- Prepare and distribute product information and reports. \n
- Process customer selections and maintain accurate records. \n
- Liaise regularly with buying teams and product managers. \n
- Coordinate the distribution of samples and product information. \n
- Respond to customer enquiries via email and telephone. \n
- Produce seasonal performance reports and sales summaries. \n
Stock Control

- Monitor customer orders and stock levels. \n
- Ensure sufficient stock is available to meet demand whilst minimising excess stock. \n
- Support the efficient processing and tracking of orders. \n
Barcode & Product Administration
\n- \n
- Create and manage product codes and barcodes. \n
- Maintain accurate barcode and product records. \n
- Support the preparation of design presentations, mock-ups and trend boards. \n
- Source materials required for product samples and prototypes. \n
- Check artwork for spelling, grammar and accuracy before release. \n
Skills/Experience

- Experience in a similar role. \n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. \n
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills. \n
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. \n
- A professional and confident telephone manner. \n
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. \n
- Strong keyboard and data-entry skills. \n
- Good numeracy and reporting skills. \n
- The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. \n
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work. \n
- The confidence to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues. \n
