\nWhat You'll Be Doing
\nAs Management Accountant, you'll be at the heart of the finance function, delivering meaningful financial insight that supports growth and performance.
\nYour responsibilities will include:

- Producing monthly management accounts and performance reports. \n
- Providing insightful analysis and commentary on financial results. \n
- Investigating and explaining variances against budgets, forecasts and prior performance. \n
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. \n
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments. \n
- Supporting audit and statutory reporting requirements. \n
- Partnering with managers across the business to improve profitability and performance. \n
- Supporting cash flow, cost control and working capital initiatives. \n
- Identifying opportunities to enhance reporting, controls and financial processes. \n
- Contributing to systems improvements, automation and transformation projects. \n
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues where appropriate. \n
You'll ideally have:
\nEssential
\n- \n
- Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent. \n
- Previous Management Accountant experience. \n
- Strong management accounting and reporting knowledge. \n
- Advanced Excel skills. \n
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. \n
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders. \n
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. \n
Desirable
\n- \n
- Experience within a manufacturing or operational environment. \n
- SAP or ERP system experience. \n
- Knowledge of stock, inventory or cost accounting. \n
- Experience supporting business improvement initiatives. \n
