VP Legal Counsel - Private Funds (4-6 PQE)

Location: London (Hybrid) A leading global private markets investment manager is seeking an experienced funds lawyer to join its high-performing legal team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a sophisticated, internationally focused legal function supporting the full lifecycle of private investment funds, from product development and structuring through fundraising, investor on-boarding and ongoing fund management. Working closely with investment professionals, investor relations, tax, compliance and external counsel, you'll play a key role in delivering complex cross-border fund launches while acting as a trusted commercial adviser to the business.

• Advise on fund structuring and product development for new investment vehicles.
\n
• Lead legal aspects of fund formation, fundraising and investor on-boarding.
\n
• Draft, review and negotiate fund documentation, including LPAs, PPMs, subscription agreements and side letters.
\n
• Coordinate fund launches across multiple jurisdictions.
\n
• Advise on regulatory developments affecting private funds.
\n
• Work closely with senior internal stakeholders and manage external legal advisers.
\n
• Provide ongoing legal support across existing fund platforms.
\n

You'll be a qualified lawyer with approximately 4-6 year's PQE gained either within a leading international law firm or an established investment manager. You'll have strong experience advising on private investment funds, ideally within one or more of the following areas:

You will also demonstrate:
