\nThe role:
\nAs we continue to expand our UK operations, were looking for a technically skilled Field Service Engineer who thrives in a hands-on, problem-solving environment.
\nIn this role, you will be responsible for carrying out service operations, including the inspection, maintenance, and repair of specialist fire and rescue vehicles. Your work will involve diagnosing and resolving engine faults, repairing mechanical and electrical system malfunctions, conducting LOLER examinations, replacing components, and addressing bodywork damage. You will ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards, in line with customer expectations, relevant legislation, and company policieswith a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and reliability.
\nThis is ahybrid role, combining work at ourhead office in Holmfirthwith field service assignments across theUK, and occasional opportunities to support operations inEurope. As part of your development, you will also have the chance to travel to ourproduction facilities in Germany and Austria, gaining hands-on experience and advanced training with Rosenbauers world-class equipment and systems.
\nRequired skills:
\nWere looking for candidates withhands-on experience working on vehicle systems, particularly inmechanical and electrical disciplines. Qualifications such asCity & GuildsorNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics(or equivalent) are highly beneficial. Additional experience withspecialist systemsincluding access platforms (LOLER), cranes, hydraulics, and similar equipmentwould be an advantage.
\nApplicants must hold a full UK driving licence and able to easily commute to our office in Holmfirth.
\nTo succeed in this role, youll need to demonstrateflexibility, confidence, enthusiasm, and a strong ability touse your initiativein a fast-paced, service-focused environment.
\nExamining and testing vehicles
\nAbility to read electrical diagrams
\nCompleting preventative maintenance such as oil changes, replacing filters and working to service schedules
\nHigh quality work and attention to detail is imperative
\nCustomer-facing confident communicator
\nStrong IT skills beneficial

\nThe package:
\nPermanent / Full-time Role
\nSalary - £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience (plus overtime door to door / plus training)
\nDaily allowance for staying away (in addition to subsistence)
\n39.5 hours per week
\n25 days holiday allowance per annum plus stats (increasing with service)
\nCompany credit card for company expenses
\nCompany mobile phone provided for business purposes
\nCompany shut down over Christmas period
