Operational Risk Manager - Operational Resilience, Data & Technology Risk

Location: Milton Keynes

\n

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000

\n

We're looking for an experienced Operational Risk Manager to support the oversight and management of operational risk, with a particular focus on technology, cyber security, data governance, and operational resilience.

    Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide risk oversight, challenge, and advice.

  • \n

    Support the management of technology, cyber, data, and transformation risks.

    • \n
  • \n

    Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational risk frameworks, policies, and controls.

    • \n
  • \n

    Assist with risk assessments, assurance activities, and governance reporting.

    • \n
  • \n

    Produce high-quality risk reporting and insights for senior leadership.

    • \n
  • \n

    Ensure risk considerations are Embedded in business decision-making.

    • \n
  • \n

    Monitor emerging risks, industry developments, and best practices.

    • \n

\nRequirements\n
\n
\n
    \n
  • \n

    3+ years' experience in Operational Risk, ideally covering technology, cyber security, data governance, or transformation risk.

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong understanding of operational resilience and risk management frameworks.

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience producing risk reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.

    • \n
  • \n

    Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

    • \n
  • \n

    Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language.

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach.

  • \n

    Financial Services experience.

    • \n
  • \n

    Knowledge of UK data protection and governance requirements.

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience with GRC platforms.

    • \n
  • \n

    Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, or similar.

    • \n
  • \n

    Degree or relevant professional qualification.

    • \n
