Class 1 HGV Driver Nights Location: Warrington Shift: Monday to Friday Nights Job Type: Temp to Perm Industry: General Haulage Looking for a long-term Class 1 opportunity? Russell Taylor CDI are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our client in Warrington. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering £17.50 per hour for the first 12 weeks, followed by a permanent salary of £46,000 per annum. The Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will be completing general haulage work, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and professionally. Your duties will include: General haulage deliveries and collections Completing vehicle checks before and during your shift Ensuring loads are safely secured Following drivers' hours and tachograph regulations Completing delivery paperwork accurately Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle Providing a professional service to customers What We're Looking For Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence Minimum 3 months' Class 1 driving experience Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations Reliable and professional approach to work Good communication and customer service skills No more than 6 points on your licence What's on Offer? £17.50 per hour for the first 12 weeks £46,000 per annum once permanent Monday to Friday night shifts Consistent, ongoing work Genuine temp-to-perm opportunity Opportunity to secure a permanent position Support from your dedicated recruitment consultant If you're an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a reliable night shift role in Warrington with a clear route into a permanent position, I'd love to hear from you.
