Job Description

HRLife are looking to hire a Training Manager for a UK based business who operate nationally to take full ownership and accountability for the training strategy across a diverse, operational, regional business.

You will be responsible for building relationships with the business to understand what training is currently in place, what employees require and identify skill and competency gaps to ensure all employees perform their roles effectively

\n


\n

You’ll lead a team of Trainers ensuring they deliver a high level of operational excellence across the business. You’ll need to be hugely organised, be forward thinking, personable and visible across the whole business, building and maintaining solid relationships with stakeholders to work together and execute a full training program.

\n

This is a great role for someone who wants to build the training strategy and roadmap rather than be a hands on trainer themselves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a national training and development strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives
  • \n
  • Build a training program that supports performance, health and safety, compliance and employee development
  • \n
  • Review, design and implement training pathways for the operations teams
  • \n
  • Define and roll out training metrics
  • \n
  • Continuously review and improve all Training materials ensuring their up to date and industry leading
  • \n
  • Experience of building and implementing a LMS
  • \n
  • Develop annual training plans
  • \n
  • Manage the training team effectively, ensuring workload and key projects are distributed fairly
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate training records
  • \n
  • Keep up to date with industry training regulations and implement new creative, value-add practices
  • \n

\n

You will have a solid training management background, be used to managing a team and have experience of designing and embedding a training strategy.

\n


\n

You’ll need to be visible, happy travelling across the UK and building great relationships. No two days will be the same so would suit someone who is flexible, enjoys variety and can juggle multiple demands and projects at the same time. Essential you've worked in a multi-site, operational business previously.

\n

This is a Hybrid role - 2/3 days out with the business and 2/3 days at home each week.

\n


\n

Salary 55-60k plus Car Allowance.
