\nThe Role
\nWe are seeking a Product Owner to join our Warehouse and Logistics IT division. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader with deep functional knowledge of the global logistics landscape. This role is responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of our core IT products, including our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS) solutions. The Product Owner will act as a key resource for the business, translating complex operational needs into clear product requirements and solutions that drive efficiency and enhance customer experience. This position requires in-depth knowledge of our business domain and the ability to work independently to solve complex problems and guide less experienced team members.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nProduct Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with business goals and user needs. Develop and maintain the product roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.

\nRequirements Management: Own the product backlog, writing detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure development teams have a clear understanding of business needs.
\nStakeholder Engagement: Collaborate closely with business leaders, end users, and cross-functional teams (development, QA, UX/Ul, etc.) to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the development lifecycle.
\nSystem Expertise: Apply deep functional knowledge of global 3PL and Contract Logistics operations to inform product decisions and design solutions.
\nCustomer-Centric Solutions: Drive the development of customer-facing products, including Customer E2E visibility powered by loT data and interactive dashboards, and Customer Portals to enhance transparency and service.
\nIntegration Leadership: Oversee the strategy and implementation of key integrations, including EDI and API connections, to enable seamless data exchange with customers and partners.
\nSpecialized Systems: Manage and define requirements for specialized systems, including shipment management (e.g., FSMS, ConnectShip, ProShip) and the generation of accurate labels and shipping documentation/reports.
\nPerformance Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report on product performance data to support strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
\nRequired Skills & Experience
\nPlatform Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with major WMS and TMS platforms, specifically Manhattan (SCALE is preferred) and Blue Yonder (formerly JDA).
\nGlobal Logistics: Extensive functional experience in a global 3PL or Contract Logistics environment.
\nDomain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of WMS, TMS, Yard Management, and Order Management processes.
\nTechnical Acumen: Strong understanding of integration technologies, including EDI and API, and their application in a logistics context.
\nProduct Ownership: Experience defining product strategy, requirements documentation, managing a product backlog, and working within an Agile framework.
\nProblem-Solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to solve complex business challenges independently.
\nCommunication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
\nQualifications
\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
\nMinimum of 6-8 years (Maximum 15-18 years) of experience as a Product Owner or Senior Business Analyst in IT environments within warehouse management systems (Supply Chain & Logistics).
\nProven experience managing product backlogs and delivering software products in Agile/Scrum environments.
\nStrong knowledge of IT systems, software development lifecycle, and product management frameworks.
\nExceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
\nDemonstrated ability to solve complex problems independently and make data-driven decisions.
\nExperience mentoring or leading teams is a plus.
