This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional ready to make a tangible impact in a highly regulated industry.The Role: Compliance InvestigatorAs a Compliance Investigator , the successful candidate will:Conduct thorough investigations into compliance incidents, discrepancies, and safety concerns using Root Cause Analysis methodologiesPerform MEDA investigations and identify human factors and performance issuesEnsure strict adherence to UK CAA/EASA Part 145, Part CAMO, Part 21 G, and company-specific MRO compliance standardsCollaborate with Quality Assurance teams to develop robust audit and inspection processesSupport regulatory audits and coordinate responses to findings, ensuring timely non-conformance resolutionProvide detailed investigation reports with recommendations to senior management and regulatory bodiesTrack and maintain corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)What We're Looking ForEssential Requirements for the Compliance Investigator Role:Proven experience conducting compliance investigations within an aviation maintenance or aerospace environmentExpert knowledge of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and problem-solving methodologiesIn-depth understanding of EASA Part 145, UK CAA regulations, and industry safety standardsStrong knowledge of human factors principles, including human performance and limitationsAbility to analyse technical documentation, maintenance records, and regulatory requirementsExperience conducting audits and inspections within maintenance organisationsExcellent report writing, analytical, and presentation skillsProficiency in compliance monitoring tools, quality management systems (QMS), and data analysis softwareFormal training in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and investigative techniquesSecurity Clearance (SC) or ability to obtain itDesirable Qualifications:Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologiesExperience conducting MEDA investigationsKnowledge of UK CAA/EASA Part CAMO, Part 21 G, and Military Aviation Authority (MAA) regulationsISO 9001 or AS 9100 Aviation standards knowledgeAviation Safety Management Systems (SMS) certificationAviation Auditor or Lead Auditor certificationLean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certificationThe DetailsWorking Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 (37.5 hours per week)Pay Rate: £24.89 per hour (PAYE) or £33.29 per hour (Umbrella)Travel: None requiredSecurity Clearance: DBS required; this company will support the clearance processIR35 Status: Off-payroll working rules applyWhy Join This Company?The Compliance Investigator position offers the opportunity to work within a globally recognised aerospace organisation committed to safety, quality, and regulatory excellence.
