Programme / Project Manager
\nSector: Energy / Transport
\nLocation: London
\nPredominantly office-based, with some flexibility
\nSalary: £40,000–£48,000 + up to 20% bonus
\nWe are working with a growing organisation operating across the energy and transport sectors that is looking to appoint an ambitious and highly organised Programme / Project Manager.
\nThe successful candidate will support the delivery of a complex, multi-stakeholder programme while also helping to manage and monitor a growing portfolio of operational assets.
\nThis is a varied and hands-on opportunity within a small, collaborative business. The role will involve working closely with customers, suppliers, public-sector organisations, technical partners and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
\nKey responsibilities will include:
\n• Managing programme plans, delivery schedules, budgets, risk registers and governance processes
\n• Coordinating multiple suppliers, customers and external delivery partners
\n• Acting as a central point of contact across key project stakeholders
\n• Preparing progress reports, milestone updates and senior-management presentations
\n• Monitoring operational performance, utilisation and emerging risks across a growing asset portfolio
\n• Working with customers and technical teams to identify issues and implement practical solutions
\n• Supporting the development and delivery of future projects and commercial opportunities
\n• Taking ownership of projects following financial close and transitioning them into successful delivery programmes
\nWe are looking for someone with:
\n• Experience delivering complex projects or programmes involving multiple stakeholders and suppliers
\n• Strong planning, budgeting, reporting and risk-management skills
\n• Excellent stakeholder-management and customer-relationship capabilities
\n• The ability to manage several workstreams and competing priorities
\n• Strong written communication and presentation skills
\n• A proactive, practical and highly organised approach
\nExperience within transport, energy, infrastructure, fleet management, asset management, engineering, public-sector programmes, or grant-funded projects would be advantageous, but is not essential.
