Predominantly office-based, with some flexibility

Salary: £40,000–£48,000 + up to 20% bonus

We are working with a growing organisation operating across the energy and transport sectors that is looking to appoint an ambitious and highly organised Programme / Project Manager.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of a complex, multi-stakeholder programme while also helping to manage and monitor a growing portfolio of operational assets.

This is a varied and hands-on opportunity within a small, collaborative business. The role will involve working closely with customers, suppliers, public-sector organisations, technical partners and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing programme plans, delivery schedules, budgets, risk registers and governance processes

• Coordinating multiple suppliers, customers and external delivery partners

• Acting as a central point of contact across key project stakeholders

• Preparing progress reports, milestone updates and senior-management presentations

• Monitoring operational performance, utilisation and emerging risks across a growing asset portfolio

• Working with customers and technical teams to identify issues and implement practical solutions

• Supporting the development and delivery of future projects and commercial opportunities

• Taking ownership of projects following financial close and transitioning them into successful delivery programmes

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience delivering complex projects or programmes involving multiple stakeholders and suppliers

• Strong planning, budgeting, reporting and risk-management skills

• Excellent stakeholder-management and customer-relationship capabilities

• The ability to manage several workstreams and competing priorities

• Strong written communication and presentation skills

• A proactive, practical and highly organised approach

Experience within transport, energy, infrastructure, fleet management, asset management, engineering, public-sector programmes, or grant-funded projects would be advantageous, but is not essential.
