Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Adviser (People Development & Engagement) to join their growing organisation during an exciting period of development. This is a varied and influential role that will suit an HR professional who enjoys working closely with managers, driving people initiatives, and making a tangible impact across the business.
\nYou will provide expert HR support, collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, and lead key people-focused projects that support business growth and employee engagement.
\nWork Style:
\nOffice-based 5 days. This role requires a strong on-site presence to build relationships, support managers, and lead key people initiatives across the business.

\nDrive Manager Engagement

- Partner with managers across all departments to strengthen people management practices. \n
- Support and monitor the completion of one-to-one meetings, performance reviews, and appraisal processes. \n
- Provide practical HR guidance and coaching to managers. \n
- Bring structure, accountability, and consistency to performance management activities. \n
Own the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Strategy

- Develop and coordinate CSR initiatives that align with company values and business objectives. \n
- Identify and build relationships with local community projects, charities, and funding schemes. \n
- Act as the driving force behind the organisation's community engagement activities. \n
- Promote positive social impact while strengthening the company's local reputation and presence. \n
Strengthen the Apprenticeship Programme

- Increase awareness and engagement with apprenticeship opportunities across the business. \n
- Develop robust processes and frameworks to support apprentices, managers, and training providers. \n
- Ensure the programme becomes a key talent pipeline supporting future business growth. \n
- Champion career development and early talent initiatives. \n
Key Responsibilities

- Provide professional HR advice and guidance on a wide range of employee relations matters. \n
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent development activities. \n
- Assist with performance management, employee engagement, and succession planning initiatives. \n
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with current employment legislation. \n
- Support organisational change and business improvement projects. \n
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting metrics. \n
- Work collaboratively with managers to drive a positive and inclusive workplace culture. \n
About You
\nWe are looking for an HR professional who combines strong technical HR knowledge with excellent relationship-building skills.
\nEssential Requirements
\n- \n
- Previous experience in an HR Adviser, Senior HR Administrator, or HR Business Partner support role. \n
- Strong generalist HR background with experience across employee relations, performance management, and employee engagement. \n
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. \n
- Ability to build credibility and effectively challenge and support managers. \n
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. \n
- Confident, proactive, and able to work successfully under pressure. \n
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation. \n
- CIPD Level 5 minimum qualification. \n
