Part-Time Teaching Assistant Location: Salford Role: Teaching Assistant Contract: Part-time, 3 days per week Start Date: September 2026 Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Salford on a part-time basis, working 3 days per week. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys working across different year groups and is looking for a varied role within a supportive primary school environment. The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to: Support pupils across different year groups as required. Provide classroom support to help pupils access the curriculum. Work with individual pupils and small groups to provide additional support. Occasionally lead intervention groups to support pupils with their academic progress. Work closely with class teachers and other support staff to meet the needs of pupils. Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment. The Ideal Candidate The successful Teaching Assistant will: Have previous experience working within a primary school setting. Be confident supporting pupils across different year groups. Have a positive, flexible and adaptable approach. Be able to work effectively as part of a team. Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
