Principal EC&I Engineer / Designer

Principal EC&I EngineerCertain Advantage are recruiting on behalf of our established Engineering client for a number of Principal EC&I Engineers on a contract basis to support important Nuclear projects in the UK.They require EC&I professionals to Guide EC&I engineering teams in providing innovative solutions for complex projects and who can offer strong proficiency in EC&I project delivery with experience covering:\n

• Design Reviews: Serve as Lead Engineer overseeing design reviews, technical discussions, and formal evaluations.
\n
• Mentoring: Mentor team members, set clear objectives, and promote a collaborative and high-performing environment.
\n
• Optimisation: Work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
\n

Your background\n

\n
• Working knowledge of BS EN 60909 Fault Calculations
\n
• Working knowledge of power distribution modelling software
\n
• Experience with Protection and control systems (11kV & 400V)
\n
• Experience of 11kV & 400V substation design
\n
• Experience of unit protection calculations (differential & high-impedance schemes)
