Network Security Pre Sales Consultant
Job Description
Cisco Pre-Sales Consultant (Secure Networking)
\nRemote, UK based | Up to £95,000 plus benefits
\nFully remote, with occasional UK travel for customer workshops and vendor training.
\nA fast-growing, award-winning UK cloud and managed services provider is looking for a Cisco Pre-Sales Consultant to join its Secure Infrastructure design authority.
\nThis is a customer-facing role. You will own the technical relationship across a base of Cisco and Meraki customers, shape their strategic roadmap, and make sure every project is designed with the longer-term business and security objectives in mind. It is consultative and strategic, not pure delivery.
\nWhat you will be doing:
\nLeading customer workshops, whiteboard sessions and discovery to define current and future requirements.
\nDesigning secure networking solutions across the Cisco and Meraki portfolio, and producing the solution options and validation papers that shape the work.
\nOwning multi-year infrastructure roadmaps and acting as the security authority, aligning designs to frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO27001 and NIS2.
\nWorking directly with the vendor on solution and commercial development.
\nBuilding automation to enhance the managed service, using Python, Ansible, Terraform and Cisco/Meraki APIs.
\nWhat you will bring:
\nA consultative, pre-sales or design-authority background across Cisco enterprise and Meraki.
\nStrong Cisco enterprise and security experience: Catalyst, Nexus, ISE, FTD, ACI, DNA Center, plus the Meraki stack (MX, MS, MR).
\nCCNP Enterprise and Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist. CCIE Enterprise or Security is highly desirable.
\nSecurity-framework awareness and an appetite for automation and AI-ready design. Training is provided across certifications, Python and Ansible.
\nWhy this role:
\nFully remote, with genuine investment in your development across Cisco and Meraki certifications and wider disciplines such as TOGAF and CISSP.
\nThe chance to help shape a growing secure networking practice, working with some of the most secure and critical organisations in the UK.
\nThis role supports secure networking customers, so applicants must be eligible for SC clearance.
