An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineer to join an innovative engineering business developing next-generation medical devices. Working on a range of technically challenging projects, you'll be involved throughout the full product development lifecycle, from early-stage concept generation through to design for manufacture and commercialisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and wants to work on products that make a real difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop innovative mechanical systems and components
\n
• Take products through the full development lifecycle
\n
• Produce 3D CAD models and engineering drawings
\n
• Carry out engineering analysis, testing and risk assessments to validate designs
\n
• Build and test prototypes
\n
• Present technical solutions and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
\n

Key Skills & Experience:

\n
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
\n
• Experience developing products from concept to manufacture within regulated industries
\n
• Strong 3D CAD skills
\n
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes - injection moulding
\n
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles
\n
• High-volume manufacturing or product validation experience
\n
