Job Description

Team Leader (Adult Social Care) Location: Lancaster Permanent with generous benefits. Looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference every day? We're working in partnership with an established and leading provider of adult social care who support adults with learning disabilities, mental health diagnoses, ABI and those with autism within services across the country. We're seeking a skilled Team Leader for one of their supported living services in Lancaster. It's a hands-on leadership role with real purpose, strong teamwork, and an opportunity to grow your career in social care. What you'll be doing: * Leading a team of support workers and helping maintain a calm, person-centred support approach to 6 adults with learning disability. * Coordinating rotas and supporting shift leadership to ensure coverage runs smoothly * Supporting with day-to-day activities, helping people stay engaged, supported and empowered * Working alongside your team to deliver consistent support for the people being supported * Stepping in to offer guidance where needed to keep things on track across shifts What you'll bring: * Experience supporting others in a social care setting (or similar hands-on support role) * A natural ability to lead by example-supportive, organised and confident on shift * Strong coordination skills, particularly around shift routines and rota planning and a relevant social care qualification preferably NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent. * The confidence to guide day-to-day support while still working alongside the team * A compassionate, respectful approach to supporting people with dignity and care, with flexibility to work on a rota including days, evenings and some weekend shifts.
