Cold End Job Change Chargehand | Permanent| £50,000 - £53,000Location: Elton, CheshireWe're looking for a Cold End Job Change Chargehand to lead from the front, ensuring every production changeover is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest possible standard. If you're an experienced engineer who enjoys problem-solving, coaching others, and making sure operations run like clockwork, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingAs the go-to person during job changes, you'll play a vital role in keeping production running smoothly by:Leading and supporting the Job Change team during production changeovers.Setting up Cold End equipment to the required standards and making sure every line is production-ready.Coaching, mentoring and developing Job Change Fitters, sharing your knowledge and helping the team succeed.Troubleshooting issues quickly to minimise downtime and reduce waste.Monitoring changeovers to ensure efficiency, quality and safety are never compromised.Attending daily planning meetings to keep everyone aligned and ahead of schedule.Handing production lines back in excellent running condition, with inspection equipment correctly set and ready to go.Preparing upcoming job changes to ensure everything is organised and ready for the week ahead.Safety Comes FirstNothing is more important than keeping our people safe.You'll champion our Health, Safety and Hygiene standards by ensuring the team follows procedures, wears the correct PPE, and works safely at all times.
