Project Manager – Operations Transformation (Contract) | Payments Technology | Hybrid, UK/Ireland

We're partnering confidentially with a fast-growing global payments technology business on a critical Operations Transformation programme - moving core operations from a 3rd-party-run model onto a company-owned cloud operating model.

This is a delivery-focused contract role, not a governance/PMO-tracking role. You'll own getting every migrated service safely and evidentially into live support.

What you'll do:

\n
• Drive the target operating model, support model and operational ownership transition
\n
• Define and secure sign-off of Service Acceptance Criteria (SAC) and Operational Acceptance Criteria (OAC) - no service goes live without evidenced acceptance
\n
• Build and run Early Life Support / hypercare - rota, entry/exit criteria, defect triage - and control the exit into steady-state BAU
\n
• Coordinate across Operations, Engineering, Cloud Platform, Security, Finance/FinOps, vendors and migration partners
\n
• Own operational transformation RAID and readiness tracking, surfacing risks before they become go-live problems
\n

What we're looking for:

\n
• Proven PM experience in operations transformation, service transition, ITSM, cloud operations or managed service transition
\n
• Deep hands-on service transition experience, including MSP transition-in and transition-out
\n
• ITIL qualification (Service Transition or lifecycle) or clearly demonstrable equivalent
\n
• Experience delivering operational readiness on major tech/cloud migration programmes
\n
• Payments, regulated, or 24/7 critical-service environment experience is a strong plus
\n

• Hybrid — 1 day/week onsite, UK/Ireland
