Location: Corby, Kettering & Wellingborough, Northamptonshire Pay Rate: £17.90 per hour (PAYE) Hours: 37 hours per week Contract: 1215 weeks (with the possibility of extension) Start Date: 17 August 2026 Company Vehicle Provided (Business Use Only)

We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Operative to join a busy responsive repairs team delivering maintenance services across occupied social housing properties.

\n

This is a fast-paced, reactive role and is suited to candidates with a minimum of three years' trade experience who are confident working independently and providing a high standard of workmanship.

### Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out reactive repairs and maintenance within occupied properties.
  • \n
  • Complete a wide variety of trade tasks, including: * Carpentry
    \n * Plumbing
    \n * Tiling
    \n * Plastering
    \n * Bricklaying
    \n * Fencing
    \n * Flooring
    \n * Groundworks
  • \n
  • Undertake emergency repairs and planned maintenance.
  • \n
  • Prepare void properties to a lettable standard.
  • \n
  • Deliver excellent customer service while working in residents' homes.
  • \n
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • \n

### Essential Requirements

Minimum three years' experience in a recognised trade. Strong multi-skilled maintenance experience across several trades. Previous experience working within occupied social housing is essential. Full UK driving licence. Able to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced reactive repairs environment. Reliable, professional and customer-focused. \n

### What's on Offer

£17.90 per hour PAYE. Company vehicle provided for business use. 37-hour working week. Monday to Friday working pattern with an early finish on Fridays. Initial 1215 week assignment with the potential for extension. Opportunity to join an experienced maintenance team delivering an essential frontline service.\n

Candidates will be required to attend a face-to-face interview and should be able to clearly demonstrate their trade experience and previous work within reactive social housing repairs.
