\nMain Purpose of the Role:
\nTo support the delivery of Risk Metrics to FraimWrx PFE and adoption. This will be a role within the Business Analyst team servicing Risk technology related projects.
\nBusiness Justification
\nRole is required to enable MUSA to migrate risk systems and credit risk methodology change. The role will sit in technology and be responsible for implementing PFE and intraday/eod credit risk monitoring. Key Tasks will be to ensure the product mapping on FraimWRX and CR is correct for PV and RISK, new product testing with RAG, product maps and heavy involvement in Unit testing and e2e testing.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\nAssist with the delivery of the Risk migration initiative from a risk technology perspective.
\nPerform technical analysis and updates related to PFE implementation.
\nDocumenting detailed user requirements, validating pricing and simulation models using Markit FRA.
\nMapping Trade and Market data items from trade systems to FraimWRX format.
\nWork closely with risk quants to understand functionally how all products will map to existing PFE modelled/non-modelled calculation methodologies.
\nWorking closely with business for eod/intraday credit risk monitoring.
\nWork closely with the technology project management and risk system vendors to define delivery schedules and validate package updates.
\nWork with the project team to define appropriate testing methodologies and be involved running tests related to new product development.
\nEnsure effective partnership with the production teams to ensure effective handover of new processes and controls into the live environment
\nDrive forward solutions to remediate production issues
\nDevelop solid working relationships with many all areas of the firm but especially technology risk, risk analytics group, market risk management, credit risk management and Front office solutions.
\nWork closely with relevant business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s)
\nSkills and Exp:
\nFunctional / Technical Competencies:
\nMUFG counterparty credit risk uses an advanced model for PFE so the BA needs to be quantitative and familiar with these advanced tools.
\nMUFG use a vendor based calculation engine, S&P Global and FraimWRX (formerly known as Quic) and that although prior Exp with other vendor or proprietary pricing and risk engines is acceptable .
\nStrong business analysis skills and project lifecycle knowledge
\nKnowledge/Exp of gathering business requirements and compiling business requirements documents and functional specifications
\nAbility to define and structure test plans, Exp of guiding users through UAT phases
\nAbility and Exp of working under pressure - both autonomously and within a team
\nKnowledge of investment banking
\nStrong exp in implementing a PFE solution for Interest rate, FX and Credit products.
\nKnowledge of key Credit risk topics. A Minimum of 5 years exp working in these domains.
\nExp of working with FraimWRX and/or Murex would be benficial
\nAbility to liaise with business and IT stakeholders
\nSolid communication skills - both written and oral
\nEducation / Qualifications:
\nDegree level.
\nPersonal Requirements:
\nWork Exp in the Securities Industry, preferably in a similar role
