Health and Safety Advisor

We are looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join this Head Office team in Horsham and help colleagues work safely, confidently and effectively.

The Health & Safety Advisor Package:

• Salary Circa £35,500 – £37,500 (dependent on experience)

• Work Pattern Monday to Friday 08:45 – 17:30
\n

The Health & Safety Advisor:

\n
• You’ll be part of a small, supportive team that helps manage operational risk and promote the health, safety and wellbeing of our people.
\n
• Working closely with teams across the business, you’ll understand their day-to-day challenges and provide practical guidance that makes safe working easier to achieve.
\n

The Health & Safety Role:

\n
• Review and maintain clear, practical policies and procedures
\n
• Develop new procedures in partnership with colleagues across departments
\n
• Support effective health and safety systems that meet legal and business requirements
\n
• Share best practice and support colleagues to create safe, healthy working environments
\n
• Carry out risk assessments, incident investigations, reviews and data analysis
\n

The Health & Safety Advisor Person:

\n
• You’ll bring a NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent (essential), plus a strong understanding of current health and safety regulations and how to apply them in a commercial environment.
\n
• You’ll be approachable, collaborative and proactive, with the confidence to communicate clearly, support others and manage your priorities independently.
\n
• Flexible, collaborative, and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
\n
• Strong organisation, administration, IT skills and attention to detail will help you succeed.
\n
• Must have a full UK driving licence
\n
