HGV Class 1 Driver

Are you a HGV Class 1 Night Driver looking for ongoing regular work in Tamworth ? Want to work with one of the UK's leading car parts and accessories distributor? Long term opportunities are available with opportunities of full-time contracts after a period of service. Night shifts are available Sunday to Thursday and Monday to Friday with flexibility needed.This role will involve:- Car Parts deliveries to stores and dealerships where you will be unloading cages- Variety of different runs with different locations across England, Scotland and Wales- Tail-lift work, palletised unloading via pump truck with some loose loads.- Start times from 19:00hrs to 03:00hrs working on a 46 hour working week.- 5 to 6 nights per week- Site is based in Dordon TamworthSuccessful HGV Class 1 Drivers will:- Have at least 6 to 12 months months Class 1 experience- Have no more than 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs)- Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph cardHGV Class 1 Drivers PAYE rates of pay:Night Rates of £19.64 per hourGuaranteed 8 hours per shiftMandatory assessments are involved which will include:- Written test (Excellent knowledge of Driving hours, Tacho laws and Highway Code required)- Full site and safe systems of work induction- Vehicle familiarisation- Practical driving assessmentWorking for Pertemps, you will benefit from:- Weekly or Monthly pay via BACS (PAYE)- Free Uniform- Access to driver training including CPC- Dedicated local consultants- 24/7 contactPlease click apply if interested!TPBN1_UKTJ
