We are currently looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Driver to join a 3-man civils/utilities gang working on a major utilities project in Swindon.

\n

This is a long-term opportunity with 69 months of work available, providing consistent work well beyond the New Year for the right candidate.

The Role\n

You will be working as part of a 3-man team carrying out underground utilities and civil engineering works, including:

\n

\n
• \n

  Installing rising mains

\n
• \n

  Installing gravity mains

\n
• \n

  Deep drainage and associated drainage works

\n
• \n

  Excavation and trenching for utility infrastructure

\n
• \n

  Working around existing underground services

\n
• \n

  Operating a 360 excavator safely and efficiently

\n
• \n

  Working closely with groundworkers and other members of the gang

\n
• \n

  Using lasers and pipe-laying equipment to ensure accurate levels and falls

\n
• \n

  Following site drawings, specifications and levels

\n
• \n

  Maintaining a high standard of health and safety on site

\n

Requirements\n

The successful candidate must have:

\n

\n
• \n

  360 Excavator qualification CPCS or NPORS

\n
• \n

  Proven experience operating a 360 excavator on utilities/civils projects

\n
• \n

  Previous experience installing rising mains

\n
• \n

  Experience with gravity mains

\n
• \n

  Strong experience in deep drainage

\n
• \n

  Experience working to laser levels

\n
• \n

  Ability to read and work from drawings and site plans

\n
• \n

  Good understanding of trenching, levels, falls and pipe installation

\n
• \n

  Experience working as part of a 3-man civils/utilities gang

\n
• \n

  Strong understanding of site health and safety

\n
• \n

  Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team

\n
