\nPosition: Senior Support Worker
\nSalary: £14 ph, plus additional sleepovers paid at £67 per night
\nLocation: East Lancs, BB5 1LP
\nHours: Full time, 37 hours per week
\nContract: Permanent
\nClosing Date: 19th August 2026
\nAbout the Role
\nYou will be expected to assist the Team Leader in the supervision and development of specialist staff, management of service rotas, development, and delivery of support packages. You will have flexibility to work evenings and alternate weekends and take the responsibility of the on-call service on a shared rota basis.
\nIf you feel ready to take on management responsibilities as well as hands on support this may be your chance to develop your skills and continue your personal development in a first level management position.
\nAbout You
\nThis role requires a Diploma or NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Adult Care. You will need significant experience of supporting people with complex needs and have a real desire to work with an excellent and positive team.
\nYou will be able to demonstrate good organisational skills, leadership, communication skills and a willingness to work closely with colleagues and Team Leaders to ensure the effective and smooth running of the Service.

Its dedicated teams are committed to delivering person centred support that promotes independence, dignity and inclusion, while creating a positive and supportive working environment for staff.
\nCommunication will be via BSL so video calls are available by prior arrangement via email.
