HR Advisor

HR Advisor Southend | Part-time | 30 Hours per week

Are you an experienced HR professional ready to make a real impact in a values-driven organisation? I’m looking for a proactive and people-focused HR Advisor to join the team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality, responsive HR service.

What you’ll be doing:This is a true generalist HR role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with managers across the organisation, providing expert advice and hands-on support across a wide range of HR activities, including:

• Leading on employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, performance & absence)
\n
• Coaching and supporting managers to drive best practice and fair people management
\n
• Monitoring absence trends and supporting wellbeing initiatives
\n
• Local multi site HR meetings
\n
• Supporting change projects including TUPE, restructures and organisational development
\n
• Assisting with recruitment processes and onboarding activities
\n
• Contributing to HR policy development and continuous improvement
\n

What we’re looking for:

\n
• CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
\n
• Strong generalist HR background with ER case management experience
\n
• Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law
\n
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
\n
• Organised, detail-focused and able to manage a varied workload
\n
• Experience in health & social care (desirable but not essential)
\n
