VIQU has partnered with a major organisation operating a high-traffice eCommerce platform used by millions of customers worldwide.

\n

We're looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join a quality-focused engineering team responsible for delivering responsive, high-performing customer-facing applications. Working within an Agile environment, you'll help shape modern web experiences using React, TypeScript and Node.js whilst contributing to the ongoing evolution of a large-scale digital platform.

Key Responsibilities \n

\n
• Build, test and maintain responsive user interfaces.
\n
• Develop clean, modular and maintainable code using React, TypeScript, Node.js and Material UI.
\n
• Collaborate with developers, delivery colleagues and stakeholders.
\n
• Apply UI performance and responsive design best practices.
\n
• Investigate defects and support continuous improvement.
\n
• Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota during peak trading periods.
\n

Key Requirements \n

\n
• Commercial React and TypeScript experience.
\n
• Practical Node.js experience.
\n
• Experience building responsive websites.
\n
• Strong understanding of UI performance best practices.
\n
• Clean, maintainable coding practices.
\n
• Excellent analytical and collaborative skills.
\n
