Sybase + Python Developer - Contract opportunity! (London)

Our client are a global consultancy working with a banking end client to join one of their teams as a Sybase and Python developer.

Key skills:

\n
• Experience in Sybase ASE (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization), Python ETL development, and Unix/Shell Scripting in enterprise environments.
\n
• Strong expertise in Autosys job scheduling, batch automation, SDLC/Agile delivery, and production support with robust troubleshooting skills.
\n
• Experience in Prime Brokerage/Margin/Risk systems with exposure to Core Java, DevOps/CI-CD, and AI-assisted development tools (eg, GitHub Copilot).
\n

Contract details:

• This role is paying £535 per day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)
\n
• Initial contract is 1 year long and looking for someone to start ASAP
\n
• Will be 3 days onsite per week in Central London office
\n
• Must have the right to work in the UK without needing visa sponsorship
\n
