Senior Maintenance Engineer

Goodenough College is recruiting a Senior Maintenance Engineer with proven experience of managing and leading a maintenance team to oversee planned preventative maintenance and reactive works, such as M&E assets like boilers and other works in collaboration with the wider Estates team.

About the role

You will be responsible for managing planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, statutory compliance and minor MEP projects. Working closely with the Building Services Manager, you will supervise maintenance operatives and contractors, ensure high standards of health and safety, and help deliver a safe, comfortable environment for our Member residents, colleagues and visitors.

You will have:

• Right to work in the UK (The College does not offer sponsorship)

• A recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing or a related discipline (minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

• Strong and demonstrable experience in building services maintenance.
\n
• Experience managing PPM programmes, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance.
\n
• The ability to supervise contractors and maintenance teams effectively.
\n
• Experience using CAFM systems and maintaining accurate records.
\n
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
\n

The College is offering a salary of £44,000 per annum, 25 days annual leave, additional two days at Christmas and a free meal when working on site.
