\nUHI Orkney
\n24.5 hours per week
\nPermanent
\n£31,356 - £31,995 pro rata
\n£17.18 - £17.53 per hour
\nThe above amounts include Distant Islands Allowance
\nYou will be reporting to the Business Engagement Manager.
\nThe working pattern will be agreed with the successful applicant, with flexible options available.
\nThe purpose of this role is to be responsible for effective administration and operational oversight to facilitate delivery of a range of short courses.
\nUHI Orkney has a vacancy for an Administrative Officer within the Short Course Section, to assist the Business Engagement Manager in the provision of an effective short course programme offer.
\nThe role involves; liaising with local employers, course attendees and instructors; administration of bookings and award submissions; ensuring availability of equipment and resources required for course delivery and supporting course marketing and section development efforts.
\nThe necessary qualification, experience and skills required for this role are detailed in the ‘must have’ section of the attached job profile. These criteria are used for decisions on shortlisting and appointment of applicants.
\nThis post is a regulated role with children, and requires Level 2 Disclosure with PVG scheme membership.
