Advanced Manufacturing Business - Motorsport, Aerospace, Defence and SpaceTechnolgiesMonday to Friday | 8:00am4:00pm | PermanentAre you an experienced Industrial Electrician or Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a permanent Monday-to-Friday day-shift role within a growing manufacturing environment?We are recruiting for an Industrial Electrician to join a successful, fast-growing manufacturing business in Sleaford.This is a varied, hands-on role where you will be responsible for maintaining, fault finding and installing electrical equipment across a busy production facility. You will work closely with production and engineering colleagues to keep machinery operating safely and efficiently, while also supporting the installation and development of new production equipment.If you enjoy solving electrical problems, improving machinery reliability and working in an environment where you can have a genuine impact, this could be an excellent next move.The Role - Advanced Manufacturing Business - Motorsport, Aerospace, Defence and SpaceTechnolgiesAs Industrial Electrician, you will carry out planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across a range of production and auxiliary equipment.Your responsibilities will include:Electrical fault finding and breakdown response across production machineryIdentifying root causes of faults and implementing preventative solutionsCarrying out planned and preventative electrical maintenanceSafe installation and upkeep of production and auxiliary equipmentSupporting the installation and commissioning of new production lines and machineryReading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematicsBuilding and completing control panels from electrical drawingsWorking with inverter drives and associated electrical equipmentSupporting engineering projects, including the construction of converting machineryCarrying out regular plant inspections and identifying potential maintenance requirementsEnsuring machinery is safe before being handed back to productionSupporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing operationMaintaining high standards of health, safety and quality at all timesWhat We're Looking ForWe are particularly interested in hearing from experienced Industrial Electricians, Electrical Maintenance Engineers or electrically biased Maintenance Engineers with experience working within manufacturing, production or a similar industrial environment.You will ideally have:A recognised Level 3 electrical qualification, such as City & Guilds Level 3 ElectrotechnicalCity & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring RegulationsPrevious electrical maintenance experience on production or manufacturing machineryStrong electrical breakdown and fault-finding skillsExperience installing new machinery, equipment or production linesKnowledge of inverter drivesThe ability to read and interpret electrical drawingsExperience completing or wiring control panels from electrical drawingsA proactive approach to preventative maintenance and continuous improvementThe ability to work independently as well as part of an engineering and production teamWhy Consider This Opportunity?This is an opportunity to join a growing, family-based manufacturing business where individuals are encouraged to contribute ideas and make a genuine difference.You will work in a varied engineering environment where the focus is not simply on reacting to breakdowns, but on identifying root causes, improving equipment reliability and developing better ways of working.The position also offers the significant benefit of a Monday-to-Friday 8:00am4:00pm working pattern , providing greater consistency than many traditional manufacturing engineering shift roles.Interested?If you are an Industrial Electrician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or electrically biased engineer looking for a permanent day-shift opportunity in the Sleaford area, we would be very interested in hearing from you.Apply today with an up-to-date CV for further information.TPBN1_UKTJ
