School Psychologist in Glendale, AZ

Step into a pivotal role supporting students’ academic and emotional development as a contract school psychologist in a full-time capacity just outside Glendale, AZ. In this position, you’ll dedicate your expertise to evaluations and assessments, working closely with students and educational teams to foster a positive and effective learning environment.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
• Demonstrated experience conducting psychological and educational assessments
• Strong knowledge of special education compliance and best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Organized and detail-oriented approach to documentation and report writing
• Empathy, patience, and cultural competence in working with diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments to determine students’ needs and eligibility for special services
• Interpret assessment data and communicate results to multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators
• Contribute to developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide recommendations for interventions and supports
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to promote student success and well-being
• Support crisis intervention and provide consultative services as needed
• Maintain accurate records and follow all district, state, and federal regulations related to school psychology practice
