Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid and current licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
• Ability to write thorough assessment reports and recommend interventions
• Strong collaboration skills to engage with teachers, families, and other professionals
• Understanding of IEP and 504 plan development and implementation
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify educational, cognitive, and behavioral needs of students
• Develop, recommend, and support intervention strategies to promote students’ academic, emotional, and social growth
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to help determine eligibility for special education services
• Consult with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning outcomes
• Support crisis situations and provide short-term counseling as needed
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of services and progress
• Stay current on best practices and compliance with relevant laws and guidelines

This contract role begins with a district meeting scheduled for the morning of August 7th, where key information and expectations will be shared.
